Tis the Season

As some of you know I’ve been slightly sick these past few days.  So I’ve been slacking on the blog, I greatly apologize but I promise once this virus goes away I will be back to normal!  While I’ve been sick I’ve been watching lots of Christmas movies.  It’s now getting me in the spirit.  That’s why I wanted to show you my Holiday Formal/New Year’s Eve outfits.  I’m one of those people who dresses up for the holidays and New Year’s Eve.  I mean how can you not?  Especially when you’re ringing in the new year, you have to ring it in, in style!

Holiday Formal Must Haves

Charlotte Olympia black platform shoes, $930 / Gianvito Rossi black lace shoes / Giuseppe Zanotti high heel platform pumps / Alexander mcqueen purse / Christian louboutin handbag / Alexander McQueen brass knuckle clutch / Ben Amun black jewelry / SHOUROUK pearl rope necklace, $920 / Marc by Marc Jacobs chunky chain necklace / Geometric jewelry, $220 / Star jewelry / Buccellati onyx jewelry

All of the above dresses can be found at Prom Dress Ok.  The red dress can be found here, beige dress here, and burgundy dress here.  There are so many Holiday parties and formals going on I wanted to give some of you some ideas.  I know not all formals require evening gowns but am I not the only one who loves an excuse to dress to the nines?  I normally like to stick to the simple dress because you can use it for more than one event, plus you can dress it up differently every time you use it.  I’m all about buying things that I can reuse, even formal wear.

NYE Go to's

Christian Louboutin ankle boots / Valentino pointed-toe pumps / Alexander McQueen shoes / Alexander McQueen skull purse / Alexander McQueen skull purse / Shoulder strap purse / Betsey Johnson bracelet charm / Alex and Ani jewelry / Betsey Johnson gemstone jewelry / AurĂ©lie Bidermann gold bracelet / Oscar de la Renta necklace / Chanel kohls jewelry / Chanel lightweight earrings / Dower & Hall stud earrings, $73 / Betsey Johnson stud earrings

Ok, so I really hope I’m not the only person who absolutely loves New Year’s Eve.  It’s the day you get to say out with the old and in with the new.  That’s why I like to dress as formal as possible.  Who wants to welcome the new year in sweat pants?  Even when I’ve been sick I’ve rung in the new year in my cocktail dress and high heels.  Again, I’ve kept it simple with the dresses and all can be found at Prom Dress Ok.  The blue dress can be found here, the red dress can be found here, and little black dress here.  I like to keep it simple so I can accessorize more.  I can’t wait to dress up for the holidays!
