Cobalt

Uncategorized
Well it sure has been a crazy few weeks.  With Tough Mudder training, to my crazy
amounts of custom orders, to work, and to just being able to spend time with my
fur babies I think I rarely have time for sleep.  That’s ok though, I will sleep on the weekend!
Of course today is the link up with The Pleated Poppy and Because
Shanna Said So.  Let’s talk about my
outfit.

I am absolutely loving cobalt blue!  I love bright colors in general but there’s
something about cobalt blue that is just so fresh, but captivating.  You can also wear it with a lot of clothes
which is awesome!  It can be worn
underneath a blazer for work or you can wear it on it’s on and add some jewelry
and you’re ready for dinner.  The first
time I ever fell in love with cobalt blue was when I bought the shoes that are
pictured above.  I bought them for my MBA
graduation.  My school colors were blue
and white and I wanted to wear something blue so when I saw these shoes I
instantly fell in love.  That and they
were Betsey Johnson and I mean who doesn’t love Betsey Johnson????  So there I was a few years ago with my black
cap and gown and these bright blue shoes.
It was great.

So now I want to talk about gym progress.  I’ve only been going for about 3 weeks (the
first week was only about 2 days so it doesn’t count) and already I see a
change.  Not only do I feel different but
I look different.  Last night I was able
to see my first muscle.  Ok, so it was a
baby muscle but there was a muscle, I SAW IT!
If you follow me on Instagram you already saw the picture.  If you don’t follow you should, I like to
post some random stuff every once in a while!
I ran my record last week so I’m hoping I either stay about the same or
beat my record and get up to 4 miles.  I
am drinking more water that is humanly possible but I know it’s for a good
reason!  I have a few really good
cheerleaders in my corner throughout this whole training for Tough Mudder
process.  I have some people calling me
crazy and some who are saying they want to come train with me.  Either way I am feeling fabulous!

  1. It really is incredible what a few weeks can do for your body. I can tell when I go and when I don't go. You look great, Monika! I agree…I love the cobalt.
