As some of you know I’ve been in the baking mood lately, especially when it has to do with fondant. This time around I decided I wanted to make mini cakes and see how they come out because they’re such a cute idea for little get togethers or if you don’t know what to buy for your friend you can just make a few mini cakes. I decided to make ones with fondant and without. I used Wilton moon pie trays and that tray was worth it 110%. The pies/cakes did not stick one bit to the tray. Such an easy cleanup.
Ignore all of the fondant mistakes, I’m still getting used to how to use it. Anway, you’re probably wondering what the recipe is or where I got some of these things. The pink fondant is made by Wilton (I will eventually learn how to make my own) and the other fondant is the same one that I have been using.
I still have not mastered baking without a recipe so the recipe for the cakes I found here and for the filling I found that here. These were just as delicious as they look. Definitely great and easy recipes to follow!
