A year ago I wrote this post about some not so ugly
Christmas sweaters. I feel like over the
past 2-3 years the ugly Christmas sweater trend has been booming. Now it’s trendy to throw an ugly Christmas
sweater party or to even wear one around this time. Ugly Christmas sweaters never really bothered
me so I think this is a cute trend and perfect for letting your inner child out
during Christmas time. I’m not going to lie, I kind of want one that lights up, I think that would be really awesome haha.

here, you already saw this outfit, I just needed to give y’all some details. So the sweater was actually a random
buy. I was walking through Macy’s with
my mom and we stumbled upon this adorable setup of none other than “ugly”
Christmas sweaters. In my opinion they
weren’t really ugly. Who doesn’t like
baby penguins on a sweater? So I decided
to snatch one up because I immediately started thinking of different cute
outfits that I could wear this with. For
this particular outfit I chose this awesome gingham Ralph Lauren skirt. Of course you always have to add a fur vest
(well, not really, but this outfit called for it), scarf, and adorable booties. I decided to go with a dark lip (Maybelline Elixir) which is
usually not my thing but I feel like it looks so awesome with my blonde
hair. It just pops so much more than it
did with my dark hair. Just make sure
you don’t get it on your teeth because that’s just embarrassing, which I
actually did already.
