Rock The Pole, TKO, and a Link Up

Don’t laugh at those pictures I had bruises for weeks (well
two weeks) from that pole.  That girl
with the dark hair in the last picture is my cousin.  She owns a studio in Gdynia, Poland (so for
any of my Polish readers look her up!) called Rock the Pole.  It’s a studio that has I believe 8 poles on
the one half and when you first walk in there’s a mini gym so you can work out
if you prefer to do that.  I went to a
Pole Dancing competition in Sopot, Poland and some of those girls are so fit it
seriously motivates me to at least start working out.  Pole Dancing is becoming more of a
competitive sport rather than just something women do at a Gentleman’s
Club.  The girls that I watched were
athletes.  Their bodies were the
definition of #fitspo and pole dancing is definitely a lot harder than it
When my cousin asked me to see her studio of course I went
and tested out my skills and failed terribly lol.  My huge black and blue bruise on my thigh
shows proof but I did get on the pole and hold this position for a little bit
so I’m proud!
So with all of the above being said I wanted to introduce something to include in your fitness
routine.  I was recently asked to review
some jump ropes and we all know how big of a workout these things are.  I’m pretty sure that’s how I stayed so thin
when I was younger.  I used to love jump
roping whether I was alone or with other people.

Introducing TKO Jump Ropes.
My dad has already tried to take over these for his training but I think
we are going to have to share.  TKO
launched into the fitness scene under 20 years ago in 1996.  When they started they were selling boxing
equipment that has evolved into what it is today.  These can be found at Macy’s here.  You can also find more TKO products that
include excerise mats, push up bars, excersie gloves, ab wheels, and so much
more here
After being on vacation and eating whatever I wanted I
decided that it was time to get back into shape because first of all I’m not on
vacation anymore and second of all I’m not as active as I was when I was in
Poland.  I was using my legs and public
transportation a lot and here in the U.S. I use my car for pretty much
**Please note I was given these jump ropes to review, however all opinions are my own.

  1. Looks like a fun studio, I had no idea pole dancing was becoming a sport. I know someone that did pole dancing for months and my hubby and I made the mistake of writing her off as a striper (I am not lying, and feel bad about it now) but now I know better and should check things out myself before assuming. What a cute workout outfit too.
