Epilepsy Awareness Recap
Are you just tuning in this week?  Well, don’t forget to check out my Epilepsy
Awareness posts from this week since it is Epilepsy Awareness month.  You might be wondering why there is a picture
of a purple butterfly, but this is what symbolizes Epilepsy.  There is a purple ribbon and purple
butterfly.  I was talking about all
things purple this week!  Read below for
the recap links and I’ve also added links from last year’s theme.
Also, if you’d like to take a look at the posts from last year just see below!

Belt:  Cavenders
Melaina’s Birthday
Yesterday was the Joey’s sister’s birthday.  She is officially legal!  Yesterday she turned 18.  I remember turning 18, that was ten years
ago.  My goodness how time flies.  We went to eat Hibachi and I really love
Hibachi, I just don’t eat it too often.
I got her this awesome pink real tree camo belt from Cavender’s.  I actually want one for myself but she’s the
birthday girl so I had to let her have it!
Happy Birthday Lil’ M may this year bring you the best!
Update from last week
For those of you who read my blog last week was pretty rough
for me.  I talked about how my strength
is being tested especially over the last few months, and last week was just the
icing on the cake.  Like I said last
week, I won’t be going into detail about what happened, but I will say that
things are getting better.  I have a
positive outlook now and I’m going to continue going and showing life that it
can throw as many curveballs as possible, I will NOT fall.
New body positive movement

Speaking of being positive, I wanted to start a little
movement here on the blog.  Lately I’ve
been starting to follow a lot of body positive people to lift up my
spirits.  In order to continue with my
journey to being more positive about what I look like I wanted to share my
journey here on the blog.  I want to show
women of all shapes and sizes that you are beautiful.  There are so many women that I know that are
self conscious about their weight/look no matter if they are curvy, athletic,
or super model thin.  So this will be for
any woman who doesn’t feel positive about their body.  It has nothing to do with “curves are better”
or comments like “eat a burger” because those are the things that need to be
stopped.  Let’s be honest, sometimes
those girls you say eat a burger too, actually try and eat more than just one
in order to gain weight and they can’t.
Saying they look sick isn’t fair.
Every Thursday (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas) there will be a
new segment of this movement.  I’m not sure
if it’s going to go on for a while or just a few weeks.  We will see how it goes.
New Concealer

You guys I found THE BEST concealer.  It’s more of a depuffer and I believe it’s
not just Covergirl, it’s a collab between Covergirl and Olay.  I’ve only been using it for a week, but I
must say it’s a miracle.  Before when I
would use the CG Smoothers (it’s a creamy foundation) I would always have an
issue with the under eye area and having my eyeliner smudge and make me look
like a raccoon.  I try to stay away from
the really expensive makeup just because I know if I start using it I won’t
stop and I’m trying to budget myself at the moment.  Also, I only need the basics because I just need
an everyday face.  With that being said
all of my makeup is from drugstores or places like Walmart/Target.  I highly recommend this concealer if you are
in the market for one, it is the best one I’ve tried.
