Ok,
so in that second picture I was caught playing on my phone while I thought my
lovely boyfriend was setting up the camera. 
Tomorrow’s installment of this Healthy Lifestyle series will have a lot
of information from why I started this weight loss, how much I’ve lost,
etc.  For today’s post I want to talk
about some workouts that I’ve been doing and what my favorite recipes are so
far
.
Ok,
I will say that the half hour workouts with 21 day fix are pretty difficult at
times.  The cardio ones are my most hated
and my favorite ones are probably the Yoga, Pilates, and 10 minute fix to flat
abs.  There’s also the upper and lower
body fix as well.  The great thing about
these workouts is they target multiple muscle groups so instead of doing
multiple workouts you just do one that has different components involved.  The 10 minute ab video is intense.  It’s seriously just 10 full minutes of
different ab exercises.  I definitely
underestimated this workout in the beginning. 
Then, my favorite workout is kickboxing. 
I went back to kickboxing.  I only
go twice a week but I’m telling you it’s HARD. 
They really aren’t lying when they say you can burn 1200 calories in one
session because according to my fitness tracker I’m burning either that amount
or a little bit less. 
There
are so many good recipes that I found in the Fixate Cookbook.  The author is the founder of the 21 Day Fix
and she has some delicious recipes.  So
far my favorite have been the pizza, zucchini chips, and homemade tomatoe
sauce.  The pizza is actually made on a
wheat tortilla so you have carbs, but they are healthier carbs.  The zucchini chips are so easy to make, and
the homemade tomatoe sauce is delicious. 
Even though it’s the healthier version it’s super delicious.  If anyone wants a tutorial on any of those
recipes please let me know because I would be more than happy to show you how
they are made. 
I’ll
get into the 21 day fix program a little more tomorrow but as of Sunday I was
officially able to change my portion size. 
I am so excited about this because the containers may look small but
their size is definitely underestimated. 
The portions were a lot but I had to eat all of them.  I’ve never been a huge veggie lover so that
was my challenge was getting enough veggies.

Also, a before and after picture (so far) that’s really hard for me to
post so please be kind!

  1. I am just finishing up my first 21 day fix! 3 more days! I'm excited to see what you have to say and your results! Mr. thought it would be more exciting to weigh before we started and then again 3 weeks later, so I have no idea where I am on the chart, but I definitely feel a difference! You are looking great and so happy you are doing it in a healthy way! You go!
