workout series for at home workouts but for today’s post I wanted to share at
home workouts that I’ve already posted for Shape Up Saturday posts in the
past. Before we get into that can we
please just talk about these workout pants?
For a while now I’ve been saying I want to finally be allowed to wear my
workout pants to the office because they are just so comfortable. I don’t know what it is but they are even
more comfortable than leggings. I’m also
not about to hop on the Lularoe bandwagon.
I don’t know why but it doesn’t seem appealing to me. Yes, call me crazy and don’t all try to
convince me at once lol. I think it’s
also because a lot of people tell that you can’t buy just one pair and I
currently am not going to pay $20+ to buy ONE pair of leggings. Ok, end rant lol. On my last workout clothes shopping spree (I
get most of my stuff from TJ Maxx online) I found these. I knew I had to have them. When I tried them on at home I realized, holy
moly I can wear these as regular pants to work.
Needless to say, I got away with wearing them at work! I wear them more on Fridays because it’s more
casual. I think I’ve actually worn these
more as regular leggings, than actually working out in them haha.
any Beach Body programs in general is they are all done at home. I know some people say that they aren’t as
motivated to work out at home as opposed to going to the gym. Now, that’s not everyone though. When I first started this journey I could
barely run in place for more than 10 seconds without getting out of
breathe. At home workouts were the way
to go for me. I also joined kickboxing
but this is something I was comfortable with since I did Kickboxing when I was
younger and actually have a brown belt in it.
That was easy for me. Actually
going to a gym though, I wouldn’t even know where to start. That’s why I followed the DVD’s and learned
how to burn fat and build muscle. I was
also really self conscious because of my size.
I thought I was going to be THAT girl that everyone looks at and thinks “yea,
she REALLY needs to lose some weight.” I
also didn’t want anyone to see me struggling.
I struggled so hard in the beginning.
I would be a sweaty mess within 5 minutes.

rough sometimes because the dogs like to “help” their mama work out. And I mean help as in lay on my mat the
entire time while I have to do planks above a dog. There was also one time where Zero decided
she was going to lick my face off while I was doing workouts on the
ground. I had to sacrifice my eyebrows
lol aka she licked my face so much she licked my eyebrow makeup off. Alright, let’s get into some of my favorite
