I made this cake for Father’s Day and then I made it again when the fiance came home from his trip about a month ago. I just had to share the recipe with y’all, because it’s so extremely simple. I got this recipe from my coworker. She made it for all of us one day and once she told me how easy it was, I was sold! Check out the easiest cake recipe below.
1 White cake mix
1 cup club soda
1 tsp vanilla
1 package pistachio instant pudding
1/4 cup oil
1/2 chopped nuts (optional, but I used them)
1/4 chopped cherries (optional, I didn’t use these)
Mix all of the above ingredients together until well blended. Fold the nuts and cherries in last. Pour into a greased (I just used butter to grease it) bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. I baked it for 35 minutes since I have a gas oven.
1 pint heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 package instant pistachio pudding
2 tsp granualted sugar
Handful of crushed walnuts for decoration (don’t mix this into the frosting!)
Mix all of the ingredients above (except crushed walnuts) until it reaches a consistency of whipped cream. Frost cooled cake, or you can just pour it on like I did lol.
