Hey y’all! I’m sure you’ve seen a ton of bloggers talking about their gift guides and I know this time of year gets filled with posts like that. I’m not sure about everyone else, but when I see some of those gift guides, I’m kind of stunned at the prices of some of those things. Unfortunately, not everyone is able to afford a Chanel bag for their mom, sister, cousin, cousin’s mother in law, etc. I feel like as a blogger, I have to give advice on gift giving within a budget. Yes, those gift guides I see are really pretty to look at, but not very reasonable, at least for me. I usually spend a lot of money over Christmas, and I feel like if I can find great pieces that are within a certain budget it helps multiple people! Over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas, I will be presenting a budget friendly gift guide series every Tuesday!
Ok, so this pair of shoes is the only splurge item in my list. Mostly because I really want them and might actually gift them to myself haha. I love Betsey Johnson, and these are just super cute!
I am all about faux leather jackets, and I feel like they can be worn with so many different items. A faux leather jacket should be in any woman’s closet. It gives them a little edge and they can feel badass for a day.
I WOULD LIVE IN THESE. They can be dressed up or down. I think every woman should have versatile pieces like this because you get so many uses out of one item of clothing.
I personally do not have one of these, because I ordered one last year and it never ended up making it to my mailbox. However, these jackets are super trendy and I can imagine that they are comfy.
Blanket scarves aren’t for everyone, so this is a tricky one if you don’t know the person you are buying it for. I own quite a few blanket scarves, but I also live in the north east where it snows and it’s super cold. I know a few friends of mine who don’t understand blanket scarves and other friends who LIVE in them.
This bag is still trending! I don’t know about you, but I cannot afford the original, and this bag I found on Amazon (that I actually have and love it, the quality is a lot better than I expected) is the perfect dupe!
So many women own this Gucci belt! The one I linked is the perfect dupe. It’s also on Amazon!
I have these at home, and wore them in a recent post here on the blog. They are super comfy, they are the perfect dupe, and the quality is really good. The best part, is that they are only $24.99! Target, you just get me.

JENNIE A Pocketful of Polka Dots “When it comes to Black Friday shopping I am all about staying warm, being comfortable, and wearing things that are easy to get in and out of. A plaid vest layered over a simple sweater keep me warm and slide on sneakers make trying on clothes easy, while also helping me walk the distance. The great thing about wearing basics like a sweater and jeans is they work well while trying on other pieces, because if you are anything like me, Black Friday shopping inevitably means finding things for myself, too. 😉 Gotta take advantage of those sales for All the important people on our list!”
LINDA A Labour of Life “My Vanheusen Dot pants are so very comfortable and perfect for Black Friday Shopping. For me I will be working (aka Canadian) but comfy at my desk and surfing for awesome deals.”
CHERYL Cheryl Shops “Normally I’m down in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving—and California has been having unseasonably warm, dry weather—so this is what I’d wear on Black Friday. It’s kind of half summer and half fall, but these are some of my favorite pieces that I’ve featured this year on Cheryl Shops. The accessories are key for Black Friday bargain hunting: the crossbody purse allows you to go hands-free, and the low-heeled boots are comfy enough to be on your feet for hours. Happy shopping!”
