One of the automotive brands that will be at this conference is Toyota, so with that being said, let’s get into two cars I’d like to introduce you to today!
Toyota Highlander Hybrid
Stacie from Divine Lifestyle recently wrote a great review about the 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum AWD. Stacie says “We are a family of 5 that takes road trips and for us, that means any vehicle that we use has to meet a pretty lengthy list of “must haves”. There needs to be plenty of seating and it needs to be comfortable. There has to be storage available even with all of the seats in use. We need usb ports to charge devices and the vehicle has to deliver this stuff while simultaneously offering world class safety and efficiency. The 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum AWD delivers on every single one of these needs PLUS it manages to do it with style and class.”
Let’s chat a little bit about the basic specs of this vehicle. The 2020 Highlander Hybrid has an MSRP from $38,200, MPG of 36 city/35 highway, Horsepower (or as I jokingly say herspewr, if you watch Donut Media on Youtube you’d understand this joke a little bit more) of 295. Along with an AWD 2.5L 4-Cyl. ECVT Hybrid engine.
This particular Highlander is the fourth generation. This Highlander offers even more capability, comfort, and safety than previous models. Along with better sound (meaning the sound of quietness) in the cabin.
The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS 2.0) is standard for all 2020 Highlanders and that includes:
- Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection
- Full Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
- Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist
- Automatic High Beam
- Lane Tracing Assist
- Road Sign Assist
The highlander comes with some more standard equipment which includes the new Toyota Audio systems with 8-in or 12.3 inch touchscreen displays, smartphones with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant capability, and also offer Wi-Fi Connect.
Toyota Venza
Isn’t the Toyota Venza a beauty? This particular Toyota is a midsize crossover SUV. The Venza is smaller than the Highlander, and not quite like the Rav4. It also comes equipped with AWD for anyone who has to experience snow during the winter time. That is one reason why I’m so happy we moved to Florida, because I hated the snow and driving in it. This is the perfect vehicle for anyone who is looking for an actual crossover because it is the epitome of one.
Some basic specs to know about the 2021 Toyota Venza are the MSRP starts from $32,470, MPG of 40 combined, 219 Horsepower, and a 2.5-liter DOHC 4-cyl engine.

Not only does the Venza come with the same TSS 2.0 (The Toyota Safety Sense) as the Highlander, but it’s also equipped with the Toyota Hybrid System II powertrain and Electronic On Demand AWD. Just like the Highlander the new 2021 Venza, has a Star Gaze roof, however this is a premium feature so it will increase the price.

Don’t Forget!
Don’t forget to register for the virtual conference with A Girls Guide to Cars. While, I’m very sad I won’t be able to see my group of car loving gals, we do have to be safe, and it will be fun regardless.
