We did it! We got married! It was a beautiful day, and funny enough, after that day it got a little chilly here in Florida. These pictures aren’t the professional photos we had taken (we only got those for the ceremony, not the reception). However, I wanted to share at least something we have so far. My brother in law took some photos with my camera, and of course I took a few with my cell phone. I do have to preface, that we did take the proper precautions for this wedding, along with most of our family quarantining. Anyway, let’s get into some photos!
BRIDAL SUITE
When we showed up to the venue, my husband (I just typed out fiance and had to delete it and put husband haha, still getting used to it) set up the bridal suite. He added my bouquet, along with my MOH’s who is now my sister in law, along with my shoes. The rose petals were also his idea. He is the sweetest man I have ever met in my entire life.
RIGHT AFTER THE CEREMONY
Here are some photos with our parents and of course my brother in that last one. I was so happy that our parents were able to make it. Those were my terms with Joe. I didn’t want to get married without our parents there. I do have to say that for our ceremony, I walked down the isle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo ‘ole, and Joe and I walked together to the Imperial March which we thought was fitting since our colors were red and black haha!
THE RECEPTION
I think the above two photos speak for themselves. My first dance with my husband, and of course my dance with my father. Joe and I danced to The Piano Duet from Corpse Bride, and my dad and I danced to Stand by Me by Ben E. King.
Remember the center pieces I made a few weeks back? Well, they look so cute on the table! Also, our wedding cake was actually really delicious. I’m quite shocked at how good it was because we didn’t taste test anything ahead of time haha.
Obviously this is my MOH and is now my legal sister (she’s Joe’s sister). I’m so happy she was able to make it with her hubs.
THE AFTER PARTY
My maid of honor and I in my kitchen doing hashtag free Britney haha. Everyone said that they wanted to record me talking about #freebritney and send it to Britney Spears haha. You cannot get me started on a topic I’m passionate about and get me to shut up haha.
This was a lovely photo of our moms, and our youngest siblings.
Joe and I did things a little backwards. He proposed to me with a band from his grandma, so the wedding ring was actually an engagement ring style haha. I thought he did a really good job with this one. It’s a black diamond and the setting has the prettiest detail.
Anyway, I’ll upload some more pictures in the future, but these are just a select few of what we have so far. Let’s move on to the linkup.

Many, many congrats! It looks like a totally awesome day. You looked fabulous! And omg, I had to laugh at your reference to the “after party.” That’s exactly how I referred to our post wedding gathering. Everyone kept laughing at me telling me it was “reception.” Uh no, it was definitely the After Party.

Thank you! Yes, it was definitely an after party. We had the reception, but then after that everyone came back to our house and that’s when we all got really comfortable haha.
