A Very Comfy Summer Outfit & a Linkup

COMFY SUMMER OUTFIT

This summer, I’ve decided I want to be comfy and chic at the same time.  This is probably the most casual outfit I’ll wear out of the house, but of course I had to add some leopard print in there to spice it up a little bit.  I’ve been loving the biker shorts trend, even if it does remind me of when I was younger.  A lot of trends that I’ve worn in my life have already repeated themselves and it’s just the nostalgia in wearing or seeing some of these items for me.

LOOKING LIKE MY MOM

I feel like I look like my mom in these pictures if she ever had pink hair.  I don’t know why, but the biker shorts just remind me of the 80’s and the sandals I’m wearing remind me of sandals my mom used to have.  Too bad we don’t wear the same shoe size because I could’ve easily taken all of her old shoes that she didn’t want from back in the day.

A CUTE NEW HAIRSTYLE

If you read about my hair thinning here and here, I’ve been trying to get more creative with my now short hair.  In the Youtube video that I have going up today (I’ll link it below), I wore this hairstyle.  I saw it on Instagram, and I fell in love with the celestial hair pieces and just had to recreate it.  I’ve been tryin to be a little creative because I didn’t want to cut my hair, and when I don’t want to do something, I lose all creativity with it.

BY THE WAY, I GOT A NEW CAR!

I very briefly talked about getting a new car on my Instastories a while back, but I never introduced my new car.  My husband and I traded in my Subaru WRX for the VW Tiguan.  If y’all would be interested in a full review, let me know.  I would love to give a full review because it’s definitely completely different from what I’m used to.  This is the first automatic car I’ve driven in years, and it’s weird to go from always driving cars to now a cross over.

I actually wanted to post this picture as a joke, because I’ve been working on today’s Youtube video for over a month and it’s all about the Law of Attraction and The Secret.  If you don’t know LOA, the simplest way to explain it is, it’s a pseudoscience that believes in human beings manifesting everything in their lives.  That includes bad and good things.  If you think negative thoughts you manifest or attract any illnesses you may be diagnosed with.  If you get into a car accident, you manifested that.  If you just manifest things enough you can get them.  The movie version of The Secret is available on Netflix.  Well I was going to make a joke saying that I didn’t manifest buying a new car, I literally just went to the dealership with my husband and we traded in my car for the car I wanted haha.

GIFTS FROM A SUBSCRIBER PT 1

I wanted to share two gifts that I received from two of my subscribers.  The first one is a bunch of handmade clay earrings, and a wire ring.  I thought these were so beautiful.  I’ve been wanting to test out clay earrings for a while now because I just find them so pretty.  They’re light weight too, so for anyone who can’t wear heavy earrings, clay earrings are definitely the way to go.

The second gift that I received was from author Kyla Sharp.  She wrote a suspense/thriller about a woman who’s running from her past and she gets mixed up with multi level marketing companies.  Of course, it’s perfect for me to read because I have an entire playlist on my Youtube dedicated to anti mlm/true crime hybrid videos.  Once I’m done reading it I’ll definitely give an update a to what I think.
