YOUR OWN TWIST LINKUP: STAR GAZING EDITION

It’s time for the monthly your own twist linkup with my friend over at Shelbee On The Edge.  If you’re new to my blog, this is a monthly linkup that we have been doing since October of 2018.  The idea for this linkup came about randomly.  One day I had met with Shelbee On The Edge because she had been in the area.  I loved her outfit so much that I remixed it in my own way.  I believe we did this a few more times to each other before finally deciding to make it into a linkup.  That’s how Your Own Twist Linkup was born.  Our first one was a Halloween look for 2018.  Unfortunately, I did have to take a break from quite a number of the Your Own Twist Linkups this year.  The first and most of the second trimester was rough so I took a break from blogging in general.

STAR GAZING MATERNITY OUTFIT

Believe it or not, this lace top actually isn’t a regular top.  I found it in the maternity lingerie section haha. I’m definitely wearing this even after I give birth because it will fit perfectly.  The leggings however are definitely maternity.  I tried to wear my regular faux leather leggings, but that didn’t work out in my favor.  It was a bit tight, but it made me look lumpy if that makes sense.  When I think of star gazing, I think of dark skies, which is why I decided to go with an all black outfit for this month’s Your Own Twist Linkup.

I’VE COME UP WITH MY HALLOWEEN COSTUMES

I know it’s only August, but because the Your Own Twist Linkup started with a Halloween costume, I’m already planning my looks.  So far there is one that is going to utilize my ever growing belly, while the other ones are just to dress around the bump.  If you’ve been here for a few years, you know that I LOVE HALLOWEEN.  My husband and I even got married on Halloween and the bebe is due in October.  The bebe should be here before Halloween, and both my husband and I are born in October.  From now on October is going to be a very busy month for us to say the least.  However, I’m super excited to play around with maternity costumes and of course take a stroll down memory lane to past looks.
