NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS THEMED BABY SHOWER
If you follow me on social media, you may have already seen that we finally had the Nightmare Before Christmas themed Baby Shower. Scarlett was born a few days before her baby shower, but it was kind of nice having her there. In the future she can be told the story of how she ruined her own party because she was so eager to come into the world. My sister in law was the one who hosted the shower, and I think she did such an amazing job bringing the theme to life. I wanted red for Scarlett, Halloween, and Nightmare Before Christmas all mixed into one baby shower. At first, I didn’t even want a baby shower, but once I said let’s just have a few friends get together the baby shower happened.

WELCOME LITTLE NIGHTMARE
Welcome Little Nightmare was the first thing I saw and I loved it. No, Scarlett is not a little nightmare, it’s a reference to Nightmare Before Christmas for those who maybe haven’t seen or heard of Nightmare Before Christmas. It’s one of my favorite movies and it’s my husband’s favorite movie. I’m sure there will be times where Scarlett feels like a little nightmare though. We are just so grateful to have her. She may keep us up most nights, but at least she’s adorable so she gets away with it.

BEBE SCARLETT’S OOTD
I’m going to be making future posts of Scarlett’s outfits. She deserves to have her own outfits be showcased. I have a lot of super adorable outfits that were given to her at the baby shower. There is one outfit I bought her but unfortunately it’s a bit big for her and won’t fit for quite some time. However, it’s a cute little winter vest with a chambray top and the cutest leggings. Stay tuned though, because I’ll be sharing her outfits!

TAKING INSPIRATION FROM PINTEREST
I saw this one baby shower idea on Pinterest that said “a baby’s brewing” and it was all black and witch themed. This is when I started being tagged in it by every single person I know on every social media possible. That was the turning point and when I decided that I want to have a baby shower. I showed my sister in law and then asked her if we could throw a baby shower. So, this is what she came up with on such short notice, and I think she did awesome!

SMALLCAKES CUSTOM MADE CAKE
Smallcakes is a place that has the absolute best cupcakes here in our area. I didn’t know, but apparently they also take custom order requests for cakes. The cake that my sister in law got me was so good. The icing was delicious along with the actual cake. If you have a Smallcakes near you, you need to at least try a cupcake for yourself!
EVEN THE PUPS ENJOYED THE BABY SHOWER
The pups got tuckered out by the end of the day. This pup and the other one are my sister and brother in law’s dogs. Lilly and Zero stayed home, but I love that these pups wore costumes. Our dogs would never allow any kind of Halloween costume to be put on them.
Well, that’s it y’all! I thought the theme was perfect for our little one and I’m happy she was here for it.

What a fun baby shower theme! And the little nightmare stuff is so cute and perfect considering Scarlett really did ruin her own baby shower! Ha. So great that she got to attend he own shower thought, too.
