I guess this is the part where I tell you about myself.

Who is Jersey Girl, Texan Heart?
I am a 30 year old career woman who holds down a full time corporate job and consumes the rest of her time with this blog.  This blog was started in 2010 and it went on for a few months until life got in the way and I had to stop.  I started back up about three years later in 2013.  Since then I have experienced so many amazing things.
I’m a NJ native with a Polish nationality.  I grew up in a Polish household meaning as soon as you step foot in my door it’s like you’re in Poland.  A few years ago I moved 24 years of my life to Texas in the back of my VW Jetta. Even though I came back a big piece of my heart is taken by Texas.  This is where my blog name comes from, in case you were wondering.

I’m engaged to my best friend.  He’s also the one behind the lens.  He takes most of my pictures, and sometimes my dad does if the fiance is out of state.

Lilly Savannah 7 years old
Zero 3 years old
Kuba 12
I am a fur mama to a Puggle and Pitbull/Hound Mix.  Our Maltese is the family dog, he has also been featured on le blog.  Both of my pups are rescues from the south.  Lilly the Puggle is from Texas (my little souvenir from when I lived there) and Zero is the Pitbull/Hound who is originally from Georgia but was brought to NJ.  I love them both unconditionally and they are my babies.  They may make an appearance or two here on the blog and on my YouTube channel!

  1. Nice to "meet" you! It's nice to see someone admitting that they've had struggles in the blog world. All too often people hide behind the "bubbles" and many are fooled! I'm typically happy go lucky but have had my share of struggles. Excited to follow along, girl!

    1. Nice to meet you too 🙂 People sometimes don't like to show a sign of weakness but I feel like I can relate to other bloggers out there and if I can help them feel even a tiny bit better that makes me happy. Blogging can be hard at times but we all just have to remember why we started blogging in the first place!
