NYE: Black Lace, Casual Outfit and a Recap of 2015

Today’s post is filled with a lot of stuff (for lack of a
better word)!  I have a casual NYE outfit
for y’all and a few round ups of the year 2015. 
First we are going to take a look at this awesome outfit!  I figured this would be the perfect outfit for
a casual NYE look.  Dresses are fun and
everything, but what if you just aren’t a dress/skirt person.  If that’s the case, this look is perfect for
you.  It’s simple, yet chic, and I feel like
the hair really gives it a more dressed up feel.  Also, it’s very edgy.

I pretty much just took my go to bottoms aka leggings.  I paired it with a tank and this black lace
top.  I added my OTK boots and made up
this super casual look.  The hair was the
finishing touch.  Don’t forget to take a

Favorite Mani’s

There are so many mani’s that I love.  I did a recap of them for the first half of
the year here.  For today’s post I have
to pick three of my top fav’s from this ENTIRE year.  This was definitely a difficult decision!  Number 1 was my favorite because I did this design in Poland with a bobby pin and some random tape I found in my grandparent’s apartment.  Number 2 was my favorite just because I loved the ombre and butterfly.  Number 3 was my favorite because it was the first time I worked with Born Pretty and I have worked with them so many times since.  They are one of the best brands to work with and their products are a great price and fun.  I also decided to do a little collage of all of 2015’s designs.

Favorite Outfits

Having to pick three outfits from an entire year that are my
favorite is really difficult.  It’s
almost cruel to tell a girl to do that haha. 
With that being said, I somehow narrowed it down to three outfits that
were my favorite this year!  Ok, so I must admit the way that I chose these 3 was I went back to Instagram and picked the most liked outfits of this year.  It can be just the picture but all of these pictures had 100+ likes.  Actually the first one was my first picture on Instagram to reach over 100 likes and it was one of my favorites because it was one of my Blogiversary outfits.  What’s funny is in all three I’m showing off my better side and look at my feet.  Haha, I guess that’s my signature pose?

Favorite Moments

My first favorite moment would have to be the first thing
that happened in 2015.  The boyfriend and
I made it official on New Year’s Day about a half hour after midnight.   My second favorite moment is also one of the worst moments from this year.  As some of you know I got into an accident back in September.  When they were getting me out of the car and putting me in the ambulance I heard my dad say my name.  Knowing that he was there and that he would be at the hospital as soon as they told him which one was a moment of relief.  It was a moment of happiness that I wasn’t alone, and it was a memorable moment.  My dad has been there every time I’ve been in the hospital and the feeling I had in that one moment was one of my favorite feelings.  I felt safe and calm.  My third favorite moment was when I found out my Grandma’s cancer is under control.  This is the first time I’m talking about this on my blog (go figure it’s on the last day of the year) but when I went to Poland I was in the hospital every day with my Grandma.  She was diagnosed with cancer while I was in Poland.  She started chemo and her test results have come back and they’ve been really great.  She’s actually able to finally walk again!  I might one day talk more about this but for now I figured a short version will do.

I wanted to take the time to say a quick thank you to all of my supporters of this blog.  Your sweet comments and the time you take just to stop by and say hello means a lot.  This year has been such a great year with the blog.  It was a very hectic year for me personally but this blog is what kept me going and kept my mind off of a lot of things.  Thank you everyone!
