DIY TY Beanie Baby Halloween Costume for Dogs

Ok, so this costume was a total fail haha.  It’s my first one of my Halloween series and I just had to share it.  So it was supposed to be a little girl with her TY Beanie Babies, BUT, apparently my dogs hated it and couldn’t stand having it on.  My puggle (Lilly) ripped it off right away, so I decided that that first picture is a little girl being upset because her limited edition beanie baby’s tagged ripped off lol.  I feel like a terrible dog mom because my pitbull (Zero) was so scared (I wasn’t expecting her to be this scared) that she peed on the floor as soon as she walked away from me with the tag on her collar.  I honestly didn’t think she would be that scared.  So, the costume was an epic fail, and it ended up making me feel like a horrible dog mom.

BUT, if you have a fur baby and want to test out the TY Beanie Baby tag, it’s really easy.  I just used red poster board for the heart, and cut out the white pieces for the lettering and the inside.  I didn’t trace anything, I just kind of went for it.  I think it turned out pretty ok, minus the fact that the dogs hated it.   I still feel horrible for my pittie.  Dog mom fail!

Are y’all dressing up your pets?  My puggle has been an elephant before, but she hated the costume and it came off within 5 minutes lol.  I really wanted this to be a cute little thing with my pups, but nope, they weren’t having it, and I didn’t blame them.
