Top: Foreverlaine & Co. (sold out, but there’s so many cute new arrivals) // Shorts: Rebellia // Sandals: Target (old)
I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try some faux leather shorts. What I will say, is they’re really only for looking cute because here in Florida it gets hot, and once I was outside for too long they got stuck to my legs lol. However, I will say they were super cute, and because these are from Rebellia, they’re stretchy. That’s one of the reasons I love buying from Rebellia because their clothes are stretchy and comfortable. Along with that I decided to get this shirt from Foreverlaine & Co. With everyone going on in the world, I wanted to support small business, so both pieces are from two of my friends who are small business owners.
I also wanted to give an update! As I said last week, I have started with the wedding planning and I said yes to the dress. Well, the dress came in and it’s even prettier in person, however I am going to have to get a much smaller size. Yes, I can have it taken in, but even with taking it in, I feel as though the ta ta area is still too big. I also got some more information from my wedding planner. She was showing me different places we can get married, and of course other options. I’ve decided that I want to go with a broche bouquet and while she showed me some, I think I might want to make one on my own. I already know that I’m going to make my shoes on my own, so why not do both. I still have a little bit of time before the wedding. I found some great tutorials on how to make broche bouquets and I think I’d prefer to make it rather than buy one because this way it will be more unique. Although, I will say, I saw a really cute Alice in Wonderland themed one on Etsy, but it’s so dang expensive.
Anywho, enough blabbering, let’s get into the linkup!

Adorable outfit! I am picturing leather shorts with tights in the cooler months maybe! That would be super cute. I had to look up what a brooch bouquet is and they are really freaking cool! I agree that making one will be really cool and unique. I am so glad that you found the dress, too! Also, your hair looks freaking amazing!

Shorts and car do not agree with me: I burn my legs and they stick to the seat with the heat lol!

Wedding planning – ah, you are bringing back memories! So fun and so excited for you. These faux leather shorts look really good on you Monica. But I know what you mean about the heat. We have been having high 90s in our neck of the woods and I just about dislike it so much. I know I am a summer wimp! I hope your week is going well so far and happy Wednesday!
