HELLO 2021
Well hello 2021! How was everyone’s new year? Was it any different from previous years, or was it the same? Over the past few years, I’ve spent my time at home either with my husband, or there was one year where it was just my brother and I eating Wawa sandwiches. In other words, my new years wasn’t any different from the last few. Our area doesn’t have any restrictions or lockdowns, so I’m sure people were out somewhere, but we were home. I know that a lot of people are saying that 2021 won’t be any better than 2020 and how just because the clock struck 12, it doesn’t change anything. While they’re not really wrong, I do see the new year as a fresh start. It may not change, and a lot of us may experience or are currently experiencing lockdowns, quarantines, etc. I’m hopeful that in 2021 we can go back to “normal.” Normal is in quotes because I don’t think there will be any kind of normal, since a lot of things have changed. What I will say, is I do love the month of January in general because it’s a fresh start.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Another reason why I love the month of January is it’s filled with birthdays. My mom’s birthday is tomorrow, the 7th, Zero’s (our pitbull) 6th birthday is a day after, on the 8th, and then my mother in law’s birthday is on the 30th. I just had a memory pop up on Facebook from two years ago, where I took my mom and mother in law out for a girl’s night to see Mary Poppins for their birthdays. I remember that day like it was yesterday. It was the last time that I saw a movie in NJ too. At least I have those memories though.

LIFE/CONTENT UPDATES & GOALS
I have some goals for this blog this year. Over the past two years my blog has been put on the back burner. In 2019 it was due to our move, and then in 2020 it was due to Youtube. We have recently decided to close the CBD store (the physical store, but we are still shipping orders), so I’m working at our shop now. It’s way busier here at the shop, because everyone needs their car worked on, but not everyone needs/wants CBD. With that said, I won’t have as much free time during the weekdays as I did before. Time management is something that I struggle with, so I’m starting to get back into using a content calendar and scheduling way in advance. In addition, I’m going to have a routine when it comes to content creating. Writing is something I love over creating videos so I do want to create more content here than I have over the past 2 years.
I haven’t figured out what other kind of content I want to include, but it’ll most likely be lifestyle and some educational content. What would all of you like to see from me on this blog? Now, let’s move on to the first linkup of 2021!
